Laura received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education at the University of Wisconsin/Madison with a minor in Jewelry/metal smithing in 1980. She is life certified to teach Art from K-12th grade.
 
Before dedicating her life to the education of young people, Laura Sprague spent three years in the business world as an Architectural Model Builder in Houston, Texas. She was responsible for scale size representation of large scale building projects.
 
Laura has 10 years of experience in secondary art. Rated as a Master teacher in the public school system, she is also a member of the Texas Art Education Association and the National Art Education Association.
 
Laura’s high school students acquitted themselves well in STATE art meets winning many awards. She has also judged and directed these meets.
 
Over the past 3 decades Laura has engaged in hundreds of hours of professional development and completed a Masters of Fine Arts degree in 2016 in Sculpture at Houston Baptist University.
 

She is now pursuing her wholehearted PASSION of being a Professional Artist.
